Our mission is to provide safe, affordable housing for adults with mental and/or physical challenges and to maintain a healthy, happy home that fosters community involvement and independent lifestyles.

“Ten Commandments” of HRA Village Staff

1.         Remember that the Residents are never an interruption to our work, the                   Residents are our work

2.         Always state things in a positive, respectful way; never speak harshly                       or unkindly to any Resident or co-worker;

3.         Project professional courtesy and dignity to everyone, Residents, co-                      workers and visitors to HRA Village

4.         Brighten every Resident’s day; greet everyone with a smile

5.         Always acknowledge Residents by their name

6.         Always go the extra mile to provide assistance to Residents or co-workers

7.         Never say, “I don’t have time now” without saying, “...but I would be                         happy to assist you as soon as I can”—and then be sure to follow-up!

8.         Always remember that every Resident is a special gift, and we should treat             them in that manner;

9.         You don't get paid for the hour. You get paid for the value you bring to the               hour;

10.       Never forget our Residents pay our salary
